Six of our favourite Campervans and Motorhomes of 2025

As one of the UK’s leading motorhome and campervan insurance brokers, we see a steady flow of new models that require specialist protection each year. While some people look for converted campervan insurance, other buyers still prefer purpose-built vans when buying new. This gives us insights into what is exciting in the campervan and motorhome world currently.

So which models deserve your attention in 2025? If we were shopping for a new campervan or motorhome, these would be at the top of our list.

Six of our favourite Campervans of 2025

Campervans give people their first taste of life on the road. They are easy to drive, won’t break the bank, and can sleep up to four people, perfect for spontaneous getaways.

2025 has delivered exciting new campervans, including Ford’s Auto-Sleepers Air (from £74,000) and the S&L Apollo (from £75,000). But the VW Campaway Casa (from £69,995) and Swift Carrera 144 (from £71,000) really caught our attention.

1. VW Campaway Casa

VW has always led the way in campervans, and you’re likely to still spot vintage models touring the country today. The build quality speaks for itself, and their engines are built to last.

The 2024 Campaway Casa lives up to VW’s reputation. With three berths and space for a child, it’s ideal for families, and the onboard toilet is a real bonus. The pop-up roof gives you room to stand, and though the kitchen is compact, everything is thoughtfully laid out and works well. At around 17ft long, it is big enough to be practical yet small enough to park on your driveway or in a regular parking space.

2. Swift Carrera 144

At around £71,000, the Swift Carrera is not cheap, but you get a lot for your money. They have somehow squeezed all this into under twenty feet:

  • Three berths for comfortable sleeping
  • Four proper travelling seats
  • A kitchen you can actually cook in
  • A proper wet room
  • A rear lounge for relaxing

The designers have used glass cleverly, and that pale grey interior makes everything feel bright and spacious, especially when you throw open those rear doors. If you need a van that works for daily life as well as holidays, this ticks all the boxes.

3. Itineo Cozi PS700

The Itineo Cozi PS700 packs five berths and flexible living space into a low-profile design suitable for families. Starting around £62,000, it uses rear bunk beds to make the most of available space. Up front, you will find straight and L-shaped settees, and when you unfold the table, six people can eat together comfortably. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped (though you must make do with two hobs instead of an oven), and the washroom has a separate shower with folding screens.

Built on a Ford Transit base, it can drive well, and if you choose the Elite option, you will also get an automatic gearbox.

4. Knaus Tourer Van 500 LT Vansation Motorhome

This two-berth van has two travelling seats and, thanks to its VW T6.1 base, drives beautifully and won’t let you down.

Despite its compact size, six people can sit comfortably inside, and the seating converts quickly into a double bed. The bathroom includes a cassette toilet, and its clever swivel wall creates either a shower cubicle or a washroom as needed.

5. Carthago C Tourer I 145 LE Superior

Some people believe bigger is better when it comes to motorhomes. If you have the budget, these two deserve your attention. The Carthago C Tourer I 145 LE Superior gives you good value for your money. This beauty combines style with real substance:

  • An L-shaped living area with supremely comfortable seats
  • A 32″ LCD TV for those cosy evenings
  • A kitchen with everything you need for proper cooking
  • A bathroom that doesn’t feel cramped
  • Four berths that convert into two generous two-metre beds

Yes, £117,000 puts it firmly in premium territory, but you get luxurious mobile accommodation.

6. Adria Supersonic 780DL

With fixed rear single beds, leather seating, a kitchen with all the bells and whistles, and a bathroom you can move around in, this motorhome is built for those longer adventures.

When you park up for the evening, you can relax on the facing lounge settees. Want extras? You can add an awning, dimmable lights, and even a ceramic toilet. At around £170,000, it is a serious investment that offers an incredible way to see the world!

Protecting Your 2025 Campervan and Motorhome Investment

Spending around £70,000 on a compact campervan or £170,000 on a luxury motorhome is a major investment that needs specialist cover from day one. These new 2025 models come packed with advanced features and technology.

At Advance Insurance, we work with insurers who get what makes these vehicles special. We know the difference between a VW Campaway Casa and a Swift Carrera, between an Itineo PS700 and an Adria Supersonic. This knowledge means we can find the right insurance that protects what you have invested in.
